A Christmas Story the Musical
Fun fact: I actually wanted to be cast as a bully in A Christmas Story: The Musical, but playing Nancy turned out to be even more exciting! 🎄✨🎠I had so much fun performing at the Walnut Street Theatre. I especially loved the Santa lap scene, where I got to be a little silly and say “choo choo” 🚂 for my train! Singing “Somewhere Hovering Over Indiana” was amazing—it was such a special moment to put my singing and acting into effect and help bring that beautiful song to life on stage. And of course, my very favorite part was the tapping scene—so much fun! The leg lamp scene was hilarious too!
Ms Kaity, Molly, the adult cast and production staff were so helpful and kind—some of them even helped me with my homework at times! I’ll never forget all their kindness. And let’s not forget—I got to spend my birthday at the Walnut, and the cast made it so special, from baking homemade treats to singing for me—it made me feel so loved and appreciated.
Being part of this show and meeting wonderful new friends and working alongside wonderful actors made the whole experience unforgettable. Huge thanks to the Walnut Street Theatre 🎠for this incredible opportunity, and thank you to my parents, family, and friends for always supporting me and cheering me on. I will carry these memories with me forever🎶✨
